Breathing deeply, moving mindfully, and being surrounded by natural beauty is therapy for my soul.
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I have always been blessed with having access to lush coastal rainforests.
I find solace and peace being among the trees. Whenever I have the opportunity to, I take my daily walk through the woods. I consider this my sabbatical for the day, my conscious pause.
As I wander through the woods, I allow my mind to wander. I am able to have a different perspective on challenges that I am facing and inspirations for growth and understanding. The majority of my musings, metaphors and insights come to me during these explorations.
